Is it just me or do others have this problem of wheel chains hitting the arms as the wheels rotate? I have R4 tires on the tractor. Some attachments are way worst than others . I like the tiller because it can be adjusted so that there is plenty of clearance where as the winch that hits, rubs and catches every rotation . Once it even broke the chain. Wheel Spacers..... tell me about them. remove tire install spacer, install longer bolts or nuts????

Need pictures! Maybe the pins on the winch can be turned in. That would move the lift arms away from the tires.

Do you have check chains or some other sway restrictor?

Yes I do have pins to stop from swing movement. If I had another tab welded on the plow to narrow it , that would also help. Maybe the same thing for the winch.

Try this first. Use 7/8" bolts, at least grade 5.

I have done something similar and it worked.

Can you adjust your tires out one size? Mostly adjusting the
positioning of the center hub to the rim. Your owners manual
should show the positions available.
Good luck

If you can't swap the rear tires (side to side) to gain clearance then it looks like you need spacers. I couldn't use chains nor swap the tires to get clearance. I had some 2" spacers made for mine and bought longer bolts. Chains would hit the frame the the ROPS is mounted to. If chains would have cleared my frame they would probably have hit the 3PT arms.

Would rather not go with a bolt . Fabbing a new tab and having it welded on would be much cheaper then a wheel spacer and stronger then a nut and bolt.
Good idea though.

Manual doesn't say anything about moving the tires out but will have to give the dealer a call.
