I have to say, That's really nice workmanship. If I had a need I wouldn't need to think twice buying one from you. Good stuff

Thanks 4shorts! I know that you have a keen eye for good workmanship because I've enjoyed watching many of your mods!

I think the introductory price of the cutter is also pretty attractive!

Looks well made and is very price competitive, if it was QH compatible it would tick all the boxes....

I've got a LandPride RCR1260 that's been real good to me over the last year and a bit. However, I do a lot of backing up while bush hogging - up / down banks, hills, into thickets, etc - and I regularly have to tweak the rear lower edge of the deck back in line. I'd LOVE to see the reinforcement along the front of the deck go on around the back to the rubber skirt. It wouldn't be that much more material and would make for a much more durable deck, for my uses anyway.

I like the J hook for laying the PTO shaft in. Both my LP decks have chains to hang the PTO and seems I always get grease on my pants hanging them up after use. I may borrow that idea for mod to mine.

It looks like it's going to be a while, so i'd count the 72" out for this season. The 60" is looking really good. It is almost ready for our website and a field near you.
Here are some pics:

Looks really good, Ted! I have one comment... is there a lip at the top of the deck all the way around the back (curved) part of it? If so, will that hold water when it rains?? I say that because a rusted deck is one thing you see on a lot of old mowers that have sat outside for many years. Is there a weep hole somewhere for the water to drain out? Or maybe a gap in that lip for it run out?

Also, you gonna put the little plastic containers on them for the instruction manual? Some folks like to keep extra shear bolts and spare lynch pins them.

Overall, a great looking, well made piece of equipment that will probably outlast a lot of us forum memers LOL.

One thing I wish SOMEONE would do is to get rid of the crappy, frustrating plastic shroud at the gear box that covers the slip clutch or shear pin. And replace it with a metal shield that is easily removable and replaceable for servicing the slip clutch.
