I have a Satoh Beaver with a Blackhawk loader and I want to know if can fit on satoh Buck without modification. Does someone have the two tractors to compare the frames?

Thanks!

After many searches, I'm disapointed that the Buck and Beaver seem no share the same frame. So the loader will probably not fit. As it is bolted to the frame, the holes will be out of phase.... :(

I must find a Buck with a loader, OR another tractor brand, similar to the Buck (small, reliable, strong, simple for repair).

Any suggestions for an alternative? Ford 1310 ? Mitsubishi MT180?

I just came across this thread. The Satoh Beaver had two phases, the newer phase was similar to the Buck. The mounts may not line up, but a decent welder could fabricate new mounts.

A good resource on the North American and Grey Market Satohs and Mitsubishis is Bill Rodgers at Valley Power Products. vppinc@cox.net

Hope this helps,

Wow!! Thanks a lot to all! Your informations are very usefull.

This weekend, I saw a Massey Ferguson 205-4 and I falled in love with it. It was i little bit too big for me and, of course, it had no loader... But I liked the compact format (only 55 inches wheelbase) with big wheels and a good weight!

So, I'm still continue me quest.
