Very nice box scraper.

Thanks TripleR,
It's lost the new scrapper look and smell. I don't have any of my outside faucets running yet to hose it off as its still to cold

Thanks i thought about turning the cylinder around as well the problem i see is that if i move the top link brackets to be where i need i will block access to being able to service the cylinder. I might look at it a little closer but i think i might deal with it at least its a clevis style so all i have to do is back up to it and use the telescopic links. I don't have to adjust the stabilizers

. . . .

That's the great thing about the telescopic ends on the lift arms. And you've got the hydraulic top link too, so hooking it up should be pretty easy even without the quick hitch.

I'm jealous of your hydraulic top link. I've GOT to get one. Soon.

Yeah agreed telescopic links are a godsend when the implement weighs more than you can push around.

I never had a real need for the hydraulic top link but with the addition of the box scrapper It is awesome.
It's also really nice for hooking up as you mentioned. Just put the valve in float and push or pull until it's in position. No more turning the turn buckle until you die of old age it will also be nice for leveling out the brush hog.

I need to figure out a way to secure the link when I have nothing connected. I wish I had some stainless 1/4" rod

I use to be concerned about a hook to hold the top link cylinder but soon realized that it didn't matter as I always seem to have something hooked up any way. Here is a pic of my box blade and topntilt.

Not super clean, but easy, is to hose clamp a link of chain to the top link and just use the OEM top link holder through the chain loop.

Good simple idea. Thanks Brian when I'm ready for the side link maybe next year. I will be contacting you I was not very impressed with the dealers stock of side links.

Hey Roger Thanks At this point i'm going to deal with it. I don't feel like hacking up a new piece of equipment. Definitely would have been nice if it had worked.

I don't like to hack stuff up either especially something that nice.

You could make a toplink adapter like this. It pins to the toplink on the QH and the toplink hole on the implement.

I use a tarp strap and the OEM toplink holder if I take the QH off.

Roger,
I like that I may have to see about having one of those adapters made it looks pretty simple i don't have any way to weld steel that thick. I need to run a bigger service to my barn. I looked around looks like most if not all the ones available are probably cat1 not cat 2 sized pins

I took a couple of pictures tonight near dusk with my smart phone
Glad i ordered the 88" model probably would have been smart to order the 92" as it only clears the rear tires by about 2-3" on each side
