So i've searched via google the tractorbynet.com site for gannon HSD box scrapper reviews and separately for worksaver quick hitches with limited success.

I've already ordered a 2nd position valve for my tractor as i assume i will need to add a Hydraulic top link, I would love to add TNT but need to save some more money for the side link and 3 rd position valve.

Quick Hitch

I'll start with the work saver hitch QH-102. Does anyone here use at Cat2 Work Saver or even the cat 1 hitch? If so what are your thoughts @ $515 its over a $100 cheaper than the Land Pride QH20. I'm really sick and tired of trying to squeeze between my carry all and the rear tires to hook up the pins. I built it according to CAT2 QH dimensions. My Brush hog is QH compatible I will have to perform surgery on my Split Fire to make it work but Its such a pain to get out and adjust the stabilizers in the winter with gloves.

Box Scraper

I can find plenty of Gannon reviews for gannon rollover box scrapers and other smaller gannon box scrapers and everyone seems pretty happy.
I want a model with Hydraulic shanks and preferably replaceable end plates I don't care if i will likely never wear them out i also drilled my bucket and put a replaceable edge in it as well. The Gannon is at the top of my list .
Your feedback would be appreciated
I was also hoping that ETA would introduce a hydraulic model a little lighter duty and more affordable than the Beast

The only two models i've found that really fit my desires are:

FFC 440 HD 88" $4650 @1670 lbs
Gannon HSD 88" is $3550 @1297 lbs 31.6 Cuf

Others models i've considered are:

Land pride HR3584 Priced out more than the Gannon weighs 1119 lbs 31 Cuf but is only rated for 65 hp I'm at 85HP plus no replaceable plates. i would prefer something a little wider than my tractor. My tires squat between 85-86"
Cammond 4C4 and 4C5 weigh 1470 lbs no serviceable side plates and no dealer network that i can find in michigan price TBD

I think that the Gannon is your best bet. When you get your additional valves, be sure to get them with the float function. Float works good with the top link for mowing and some types of grading for the side link when you get it.;)

Go with a Gannon, you can't get a better industrial box blade period.

Thanks Guys, I was leaning in that direction I'll probably put the order in soon.

Brian I did order the second valve with the float detent, when i go for the third for the side link i will do the same. my first position valve is a self canceling i don't see any use for needing one self canceling valve but i can definitely understand having to float valves. When i get a better idea of what i want to do for the top link i'll probably shoot you a PM for a quote if it turns out that the CAT 2 my local dealer stocks doesn't look like it will work out.

You need a cat 1-2 top link with a working length of 24"-36". I recommend a 3" dia cylinder with a 1 1/2" dia rod. A complete top link kit from me for your tractor, top link, hoses with male QD ends and flow restrictors runs $385 + shipping costs. That gives you something to compare to.;)

The Worksaver QH looks like a Speeco style. IDK if Speeco makes it for them. I have seen some Worksaver stuff that is nice and then they make some cheaper stuff. I have a Harbor freight QH on the BX, it is a Speeco Design. I have a JD imatch on the 4240 which is a Land Pride QH. The way the imatch is designed I have better visibility for hooking up to the implements. I know my QH's are cat 1 and you are looking at a Cat 2 but the basic design is the same just heavier duty on the cat 2. I doubt you will regret buying the Landpride QH but who knows about the Worksaver. If you are buying the box blade and QH from the same dealer get them to make you a package deal. Everything Attachments has the Speeco cat 2 quick hitch for $462.

One thing I forgot to mention. Don't be afraid of a used Gannon, if you can find one for the right price. Parts are readily available from any Woods dealer.

Thanks Roger,
Defintely looks very nearly identical to the QH-107HD worksaver hitch. both sites list the same weight was your speeco QH made here or in China. The WS site is claimed to be made it USA. My last run in with speeco was on their Chinese made Kinetic splitter which was pulled from production and TSC bought it back from me because 6 months after i bought it because it was such a pile of garbage. I guess they can all have issues.

The dealer claims they have sold a bunch of the Work Savers on the account of them being cheaper than the land pride with no issues, However these are primarily CAT 1's

I've been looking at various equipment sites and auction sites for years on and off for a good heavy duty Box Scraper seems like they are always attached to a skip loader or industrial tractor. I found a couple in texas and Iowa a while ago

my LP hrl3578 box scraper is not listed by LP as QH compatible.

For now my desires for a qh are on hold partly because even if I could get my BB to work with a QH I'd want it to be cat 2, yet some of the implements I have in mind yet are cat 1 only.

fyi, my BB came from LP with the standard teeth (which aren't as tough as I expected) but turns out LP no longer sells those tips, only the wider ones. Kind of weird that one cannot buy matching replacement parts for a new $4k implement. Mixed tips not the end of the world, but it surprised me that LP ships that high end BB with tips which are laready discontinued.
