I was told by Paul Short to ask my question on this Web. site, he runs the Specialty Repairs in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. and I must say that he has made me smile with the talent that he has, in how he customizes his Kubota or just anything.
I was wondering if a 976 lb. rototiller would be to much work for the Kubota L4760 three point system? What I mean by that is the work on the lifting and letting it down.
I am looking at the Maschio U180. I have a Case IH 5240 Maxxum at least 100HP that I use with a Northwest 8 tiller and it cut through the ground with ease and then I have a 5 that I use on the back of a 25Hp New Holland and that it jerks and rattles terribly because it is so light weight.
I figure if I am going to buy a new tiller I want a well made and heavy tiller so I can enjoy the time I till the ground. It must be gear driven not chain. I looked at and wanted a Sicma but it was so difficult to find the T20 72 with C tines.
The L4760 has a lift at the 3pt. in the 24 range at 2760 Lb.
