I live in Western Michigan and can't find a place to rent a tiller from, so now i am looking to purchase. I have a JD 2210 and from what i read, the King Kutter TG-48 is a good option from a price and quality perspective. Does anyone use this on a similar tractor? I will probably use it once a year for a garden, so it doesn't have to be a high end/high dollar product. In fact, if anyone knows a good budget tiller, please let me know.

I run a Land Pride RTR1250 behind my 2210 and the only problem I have is when I go max depth. I attribute some of that to turf tires and some to really hard ground and some to going faster than conditions allow. So I would think the KK 48 would work for you.

Because the three point hitch on the 2210 is a limited category 1, a better choice would be the King Kutter XB 48. You can see it on their website, here: https://www.kingkutter.com/store-product.aspx?id=3554. In your area, Tractor Supply sells this one: CountyLine® Rotary Tiller, Sub-Compact, 4 ft. W - Tractor Supply Co., which is made for them by Tarter.

HTH,

Thanks for the information. So if I go with that, I will need to cut down my PTO shaft correct? And if so, where does one go to do that?

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that a Rhino rebranded to a County Line?

County Line equipment is made by Tarter for TSC. All the data tags say so on them.
