Ive not had my tractor (yanmar F14) or 4ft finishing mower long. Today was only it's second real outing. So im not at all experienced in this stuff. I seem to have a problem where, on any kind of side slope, the mower deck moves to the down hill side and the corresponding hitch arm starts hitting the rear tyre of the tractor. The lugs on the the tyre then start jumping the mower up and down. I can see that the arms are starting to cut into the tread of he tyre too.

Any suggestions as to how I might stop this?

Just been doing a bit of Googling. It would appear what I require are stabiliser chains. None fitted at the minute. Obviously, one end connect to the arm, but where on the tractor does the other end connect?

Maybe post a pic of how it's set up. I don't have much experience w/ this. On my tractor the side "chains" are solid links and they attach to brackets on the axle.

Here is photo. Everything is central here, but it the mower can swing far enough so that the link arms hit the tyres.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach stabilizer links to the lower arms. On your photo.

Looks like you could move your lower arms closer to middle of the tractor and pin them, may have to drill hole for pin and then fab up some chains to the end of the rod to the lift arms

I see what you are say, I'm not sure how I'd could do that with the tools I have available. Maybe I could buy some different hitch parts to allow me to attach chains. I'm going to mention it in the Yanmar forum, I can't bethe first.
