Front-End Loader Do I have an SSQA - Cub Cadet 8454 w/ 642 FEL

I have a sweet Bobcat Rock bucket sitting in my driveway and not attached to my FEL.
Although I was told my tool carrier would accept Bobcat attachments, the top tabs on this carrier do not seem to push all the way up into the bucket.
Is anyone familar with this tool carrier (either CC or Kioti)? It is not seeming very universal at the moment. Any advise would be greatly appreciated,

It should be 44" wide and 16" high.


If you can pick up the bucket and move the levers down latching it in place, it is good to go.

Can you get any pictures of it going onto the rock bucket, so we can get a better idea of whats wrong

I learned yesterday which may or, may not be the only thing holding me up.
The vertical flange (see picture) hits the top of my carrier. I thought i could just cut slots to carrier to accommodate.
The way my luck has been, my top tabs will be wrong too!

Personally I would just grind some of the verticle tabs down on the bucket so it will fit.

I agree. Or if you have a reciprocating saw and a metal cutting blade it would be faster. Just remove enough to let it fit against the top lip.

I am tempted however, we haven't paid for it yet. I'm asking myself if i will want any other attachments down the road.
I will give Bobcat the opportunity to find us another universal mount. This guy knew nothing about tractors which somewhat surprised me a bit.

Looks like your adapter isn't made with enough clearance.

Grind or cut those tabs. most other buckets will fit. I had to slightly modify the carriage on my Bradco forks also..... no big deal.
