We will be moving to a new home in a few months and we will have a 1/4 mile long driveway. I want something to help maintain the driveway, as well as prepare the yard for seeding this fall. I'm thinking an LPGS is the way to go and am trying to determine what size I need. With the relatively light weight of my JD 2720, I don't think I would want to go over 5', correct? Will my tractor handle a 5 footer? Thoughts?

Thanks for the help!

That's one that I was looking at. Awesome! Thank you very much for your help!

That unit will serve you well. These LPGS are amazing implements, you will be happy with how well it works.

To the best of my knowledge, there has not been a single negative thing said about any of them from an actual LPGS owner. Yes some work better than others, but they ALL seem to work good.

Sweet! Now, to scrape together $1200 or so...

I built this 48" for about $400 with new grader blades included. If you can weld or have a friend that can help this was an easy build. This is a load for my x749 but would be perfect for a 2000 series Deere.

Hmmm, my dad likes to tinker and weld. I will have to see if he can build something like that. Thanks for the pics!

I need a LPGS for our 3/4 mile long dirt road. I found a Kubota dealer 15 miles away from me that rents 3pt equipment, I can rent LPGS from them for $50/day. A bit of a hassle to rent sometimes as it is out for rent often, but I can rent it for a lot of years before I spent the money to buy one.
