Pappy,
Wow! Isn't that the truth. Example - I never use the word "tool" - my spell check always turn it into *****, ah, ha.

Thanks for the replies. I deal with situations, daily, where people misuse terms, although not intentionally, and it shows me they are confused or misinformed. It can lead to problematic situations that should not be that way.

I did not want to find myself asking for something or discussing something with terms that were confusing, or just plain wrong. So, again, thanks for the replies. :)

Here is the answer (IMO):D :
"Implement" is the broad, general term that includes all equipment, attached or towed; "Attachments" are a sub-category of implements and would generally includes things mounted on the tractor that are not towed. i.e. All attachments are implements, but not all implements are attachments.
This is the best and most accurate definition going so far. It really makes a lot of sense as any thing attached would assume some bolted connection not just a couple of pins like an implement would be.

I don't think anyone would argue too fiercely about the use of either word when referring to some kind of equipment that is used on a tractor.

This thread reminds me of one of my old FTU/UCF ESEE professors (Dr. Fred Simonds) who used to say all the time:

"Don't worry about what's it called; worry about what it is!"

FWIW.
