So I was on my way to a business lunch today and in a hay field off I-80 just east of cheyenne there were 4 kubota tractor's w/ some sort of an attachment that looked like a swather on the front. They were lined up like they were custom cutting or testing an implement. I was short on time so I couldn't stop and get a good look. Wondering if anyone knows of this or has seen it.

Interesting, it looked like there were shooting a commercial or some sort of advertising.

Yea, that has peaked my interest also. I almost bought a used m6040hdc-1. This is my first year owning anything agriculture. I have around 20 acres of alfalfa and about 15 acres of grass (all be it not very good and it was suggested that I let it go to seed this year) So far, I've got a old ditcher I bought at an auction and old deere sickle mower I was given. I have retired farmer custom cutting and baling it. I plan on doing it myself down the road but I've got a lot to learn. I'm currently about 2 weeks behind on watering but hope to be able to order some water by monday.

When I picked up my z turn the other day they had a Kubota badged Disc mower already there at the dealership. I'm waiting to see what there square baler is gonna look like. If not mistaken, I believe he said Kuhn was the manufacture. LUTT

More likely to be Kverneland, since Kubota bough Kverneland Group in 2012.

I don't know that I would buy them their first year out. I would let others work the bugs out of them first :D

They are produced by Kubota's Kverneland Division although the design may be an upgrade on something Kverneland already produced.
