I was thinking of buying a quick hitch for my JD2210, but like some of you, my various brands of implements have different pin widths. I saw this thread posted an ordered on the spot! However, after going to Pat's website I noticed the specs and it said that you needed a minimum of 4" on the end of your link bars. Well, out to the barn I go at 11:00pm to measure the ends. They are just 4". OK, so maybe they'll work, maybe not. The next morning I called the number recieved on my order conformation. I was talking to a nice lady who was on her way to work and had no idea what I was talking about, but assured me that she would find out if they would work with my tractor and call me back. It might have been an hour or so later she called me back and said that they would and they would be shipped that day. Three days later they showed up and I looked at my new toys, good quality and very well thought out pieces. Due to other obligations I finally got a chance to install and try them out. I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone. Great customer service from the folks at Pat's. As an added benefit for me the extra length on the arms helps to lift my bush hog a little higher, good for small CUT owners like myself.
Just thought I'd throw this out there as it is my opinion that good products and good service should be noted. |

Met Pat yesterday at the Power Show Ohio. Great guy. He's excited with all the "traffic" from TBN. He also grinned real big when I mentioned the amount of discussion here about his system.

Henro,
"My 3PH backhoe on the B2910 Kubota has two tabs [for lack of a better word at the moment] that the ball end of the lower arm slips in between. There is a spacer that also goes in there, and then a pin is pushed through a hole in one tab, through the ball end and the spacer, and through a hole in the other tab..." Whew, thanks for describing our setup. I'll let you know if it will work. -Terry |

hehehehehehe, Pats is like 30 minutes from my home....after I looked at his website and figured out his address was this close. Anyway I am going there on Monday if he is available to buy them from his own hands. I actually pass his shop on some of my trips for work and did not even know it. They will be on the Kubota Monday evening and the landscape rake will be attached correctly then.

Danny,
same here, I was surprised to find I live about 30 minutes west of Pat, I think you'll like the system, and check out his facility, let us know what you think. |

Do you all use the normal spring pins for the attachment pins? They work but it seems like a bump or something barbell shaped on the end of the pin would work a lot better. It wouldn't have to be removable at all with the easy change system.

Does the Pat's system allow the bar-bell shaped adaptors to work, as from a quick-hitch setup? That would be a lot safer than a linch pin. They do sleeve over the implement pin, so they are a little fatter - not sure if Pat's allows for this?
Well darn, I was going to show you a pic, but Valubilt only lists them, no picture. --->Paul |
