gemini5362,
The smallest shim is 1/4". If it is to thick, then you probably don't need any shims. The Montana tractors have very stout lift arms. Of course, the 5740 are the worse. They have a bracket around the ball and we made larger receivers just for them.

thanks pat
By the way you can add me to your list of people that love your product. It is so nice to spend 5 min getting my implements hooked up instead of 15 to 30 trying to get them in place. With the turnbuckles on the montana that hold the 3 point in place i just pull up to my implement and then place the 3 point hitch under the pins. I adjust the turnbuckles until the 3 point hitch arm is directly under the pin. I go ahead and hook up the top link and then get back in my tractor and raise the 3ph until it latches. It does not get much easier than that. |

Hey fellow tractor owners, first post here:
Does the new Kubota B2620 require a special version of the Pat's Easy Change System. Would this tractor need the system that is adapted for some of the other "B" series tractors? I am ready to order my system, I just want to make sure I get the system that will best fit my tractor. Thanks in advance. |

I love my PEC hooks - bought them 2 years ago and can hook up all the implements myself with half the wrestling and none of the swearing. Convinced my dad to get a set as well. I'm sure he still swears, but he did admit they make his life easier.
I did have a problem though with the implement wiggling the washer and popping the ring pin off the end of the ear. I have the Cat 2 size, and this happens mostly with my Cat2 mower, but has also happened with my cat 1 pinwheel rake (using the sizers). it does not happen with my Cat 1 brushhog (also using the sizers) I saw it before the implement fell off, but I was kind of alarmed, and figured I must have put the washer on wrong. Is the folded end supposed to face towards or away from the center? I have put it on both ways, using the one that allows the pin to snap closed most effectively, but sometimes it wiggles loose and the ring snaps up and the pin could come off. |

Maybe a stouter spring clip would help. I can hardly open mine without a screwdriver blade. Never had that issue myself.

Anybody want to buy a used Pat's easy hitch system. I still have the original box, instructions and all parts that came with it. $100 and I'll ship it free. Drop me an IM or an email if you are interested. It's for a Cat-2. I'll throw in the stabilizer arm thingee for an extra $10 (I'll ship it seperate). The plastic handle on it (stabalizer arm) was broken in shipping but it never hurt it's functionality for me.
