Pat's Easy Change Pat's Easy Change System - Order Online!

I have been close to ordering this Easy Change System but then as I searched for more info I began to notice a lot of threads about ways to modify attacments to make them compatible with various quich hitch systems.
Some even show pictures of major welding and steel cutting projects they have embarked upon to get their quick hitch work with their attachments.
I really don't want to buy a quick hitch system and then have to break out my cutting torch and arc welder to be able to use it.
Is there a list somewhere of implements that work with Pat's Easy Change System without modification? I mainly need something that will work with a Wood Rear Blade and a Carry-All if I get one (TSC Probably - CountyLine?).
I am considereing a rear mounted snow blower perhaps in the future.
Any real life info on Pat's when it comes to using it with these types of attachments?
Thanks very much!
Roy

I think the problem you speak of is with the I-Match, Speedco, HF, type of quick hitches is the fixed width for the bottom TPH and fixed distance from the lower pins to the top link attachment. I've not had a problem with the Pat's hitch on any of my attachments because the width of the lower TPH arms is still adjustable and the top link attaches the same as without the Pat's hitch. Hope this helps.

I have the same two implements: A Wood Rear Blade and a TSC Carry-All. My tractor is a Kubota B2910. Would both these implements work with Pat's Easy Change System?

I have Pat's easy change system on my TC- 29 and bought it for the very reasons you mention - the other systems on the market I saw required having to modify each piece of equipment you have..with Pat's there is no need to modify anything..I bought it because you have to get off the tractor to attach the PTO anyway so once the link arms are quickly attached using pats system then all you have to do it attach the top link and if needed the PTO which you would have to do with any quick attach system..I had a hard time believing there was any quick attach that would easily attach both lift arms and the top link. I have been very happy with my Pats system. Hope this helps....it is a real time, back and temper saver...

I have Pat's system on my TYM 273 and am very pleased with it. It works perfectly for my box blade, tiller, rake and weight box.
But now I'm looking to get a Post hole digger. The 4 inches added to the length of the 3 point hitch arms don't matter for the other implements because the adjustment on the top link compensates for it (I think). But with the PHD, I get rid of the top link and attach the boom directly to the tractor (only one hole there on mine).
Will this in any way be a problem?

I have a PHD but have not used it since I installed Pat's system...the worse that will happen is you may have to take it off to use it ..but putting it back on should be easier the 2nd time..LOL...I don't see how it will be a problem since not all 3pt hitch arms are the same length...so I'm not so sure how improtant the top link of a PHD plays in the connection to the tractor..Does that make sense. ?

Thanks, bob.
I can't see why it wouldn't work either, but it wouldn't be the first time I failed to see a potential problem. As for knowing better how to install Pat's thingy the second time...well, darnit, I had the dealer install it the FIRST time when I bought the tractor. Thought I was pretty clever, too.
There's a lesson in here somewhere....

I have a couple of questions. I have a JD 755 cat 1. I've attached a photo of the end of the hitch arm, showing how little length there is. Will the PEC work on it? Actually I might be interested in having them cut and have PEC's welded on. Read on....

Second, I notice that the RH arm has an arc or bend in it, and both ball ends sit square to their mounting pins. But the LH arm, in the photo, is more or less straight, with no bend in it. I say more or less because it looks like it has been bent and then straightened. There is a little waviness in it but overall it is straight. And notice how the ball end is not perpendicular to the pin. It is the same way at the tractor end of it too. If it was shaped (bent) like the other one, it would sit square. So is it supposed to have the arc or bend in it?

Next, I measured my implements at the hitch mounts. The box blade, rotary mower, and back blade are ~26" wide. I'm guessing this is a standard Cat 1. I have a finish mower that has the mounting shown, measuring 28". (Cat 2??) Not only that, the links below the pins will interfere with the PEC. I'm thinking the triangular piece could be modified or replaced with something that is A) 26" wide, and B) has the pins forward of the links. Anyone run across this, have any suggestions, etc.? (The wide angle lens made it look like the pin mount triangle is bent. It's not.)

Finally, I have a Befco tiller, something like 52" give or take. Its hitch mounting is only 23". Can I get pins with longer threaded sections, and use 1.5" spacers between the pins and stock mounting so I would have 26"? Or...???

I guess what I'm thinking is that it would be very nice to have all the implements be 26". Am I making too much of that? In any event, something has to be done to the finish mower mount, I think.

Due to lack of activity on this thread, I decided to start a new topic on the questions I raised in the above post. I thought I'd be able to edit out the original post but I guess not. Sorry about the duplication.

I managed to break the 7/8" diameter pins that hold the Pat's to my lower links. I had installed an old Dearborn plow that didn't have enough clearance between the plow frame and these pins.....and I tried it anyway. Mistake. I broke one off at the thru-hole (which is used with the spreader bar) when plowing.

It didnt hurt the operation of my hitch....but was a pain to hold the Pat's apart when hooking up as my spreader bracket would not work. I called Pat's....and they sent me a replacement - No Charge. They said that this pin has not been broken before. :D

THANK YOU Pat's!! I'm back in biz. Good Service!!! Next time plowing....I am going to remove my EZ change.
