I took mine off and left it off. It just didn't work for me.

I don't understand that. I change implements ALLOT....and would really miss my EZ change. My plow fit was an unusual application. I think they are the best in class.

Mine came yesterday that I ordered 20 hours earlier but the box said for Cat 1 when I have Cat 2. When I ordered for the 265 I just assumed that info I guess since the question did not come up.

So I called this morning and was impressed with what I heard. She stated she did ship Cat 1 without asking that question so she was shipping Cat 2 today with a return UPS label printed for the first box inside of the second box.

Since I have no movement in my spine and limited use of the rest of my body I am hopeful this system does work but within the next 30 days they will pay the return shipping if they do not work so I go of $200 to find out.:p

The exact same thing happened to me, but I decided to keep the CAT 1 for another tractor.

The Cat 2 of Pat's Easy Change arrived today with the return tag enclosed for the first set so I dropped off the Cat 1's just in time to make the last truck out from the UPS store so Pat should see them by noon tomorrow.

I never opened the Cat 1 box so I did not see them but the tags indicate the Cat 2's weighted 24 pounds vs. 20 for the Cat 1's.

Summer left after the storm last night but I may get them on this weekend. I just dread removing the box blade without the Easy Changes. :)

Sorry I have not said anything but since I got Pat's a couple of months ago I have been busy with the tractor and changing out my implements in about two minutes. No more smashed fingers or frustration all is good. Thank you to Pat for this system. The $200.00 may seem like a lot but after a few quick changes I was sold on the idea. I change out a Brushhog 6' mower, a pto chipper, and a box scraper. I recommend them!:)

I will warn you fellas about using Pat's easy change system....When you use your spreader bar and hook up to an implement ..you then take the spreader bar off and then go on your way...but remember where you took it off and where you put it...This has happened to me..I took it off last fall and I can't remember where so now I have no speader bar..I emailed Pat's & asked them the price for a replacemnt about a week ago and so far no answer...the system works great but you need the spreader bar to prevent the agrivation of having to get on & off the tractor.

I just got back fromTSC where I picked up more bolts to fill the empty holes on either side to keep it truly straigh under heavy shifting loads. I also got 7/16 bolts for the Cat 2 pins on the bushhog to replace the keeper pins that can catch on stuff and pop up the keeper plus it filled the hole much tighter.

I dont like mine. Its easier to change equip out but I dont like all the side to side motion. I like having straight lines in my yard using a 7' finish mower. When I go down my hill the mower shifts prob 6" or so now. My NH is easy to hook and un hook anyways so.........

ccap74 I felt that way too until two days ago. I finally took out the time to fill all 16 bolt holes in our CAT 2 Pat's Quick Change hitch that are there to stop all of the side to side motion.

I found after using our heavy duty (very heavy) 7 foot bush hog on hill sides with up to 30 degrees of slope for a few hours the hitch was still perfectly tight with NO side to side motion. I also found when I added the bolts the other day in my haste when installing the hitch I left the nuts on one side of the right U bolt loose and they had lost off.

Based on my experience with a 60 HP tractor with a very heavy bush hog that wants to flop from side to side when turning on our step place I feel if you will redouble your efforts as I did you will be able to cure any side to side motion.

In my case I was highly motivated. Due to my physical limitations from arthritis the kids often help me hitch and unhitch equipment. My fear of the tractor or me doing something that could crush them or cause a lost of limb drove me to make Pat's hitch perform as he states it will perform. :)

It is true some people do not yet "require" a good quick hitch solution but in time our limitations can become greater and a solution like Pat's Quich Hitch may be worth its weight in gold to keep us riding tractors. :D

For me the extra 4 inches of space between the rear tires is awesome when installing/removing/greasing the PTO shaft. I would have to stop using the tractor if I had to use one of those huge quick hitch deals that I have seen at TSC, Harbor Freight, etc. I need a simple solution like Pat's Quick Change in my case so the PTO connection is made more simple due to the open space his hitch provides over the massive options out there and the need to buy equipment that will worked with the fixed space ones.

I looked at the solutions on E-bay that is more like Pat's system but the side to side motion and not being as heavy as Pats quick change solution stopped my from going that route plus pound for pound Pat's quick change solution cost less than those other E-Bay quick change solutions.

Let us know how it goes or better yet call Pat's staff to get you on a "straight" path.
