Re: Pat's Easy Change System - Order Online!
Does anyone know what the "economy model" is?
I saw it at Agri Supply

I am interested in the Cat II. How much further back does it put the center of the pin from the original center point?

Re: Pat's Easy Change System - Order Online!
Good question so since the bush hog was parked near the house I just put a tape on it and it puts the center of the pin back 4".
With our 7' bushhog we had 5.5 inch between the deck and tire and now we have 9.5" which makes getting in there to connect the PTO much easier.
We just used our hitch to drop the 8' box blade and hitch to the bush hog and it makes it 10x safer and easier too.
Actually I was concerned that PECS might not stand up to the weight of the very heavy duty bushhog flopping from side to side when turning on steep slopes. After the first use it had worked in and was some what loose but I went and got bolts and jam nuts for every tapped hole on the hitches and now after a lot of box blade and bush hogging it is still all tight.
Now I did work at getting the right thickness of included shims in place to make it all pull down square against the OEM arms.
The pins will carry the load so the bolts in the tapped holes are just to take out the slop and NOT to carry the pushing or pulling forces on the hitch.
I had a new Zetor about 20 years ago with the longer arms so I was excited to get the extra 4" of space.
Due to my physical limitations I would not take $1000 for our Pat's easy change system if I could not order a new set of equal function and quality. Having tool and die experience I was VERY impressed with the steel and machining quality of the hitch.

Re: Pat's Easy Change System - Order Online!
Just added Pat's easy change system to our Kubota MX4700HST. I'm mechanically avg, and it took longer than some others report to install the system. The shims were easy enough, but getting PECS square using the stop screws proved challenging. In fact, they still don't look quite right to me.
That said, I couldn't be happier with this addition! I hooked up the Landpride rotary cutter, including PTO, in about 2 minutes. Back up, lift, and voila! The lower arms are done. Even more a blessing is UNATTACHING an implement. That's always been my biggest headache; not with PECS.
Only implement that was a problem was the Eagle 7' landscape rake. The lift pins were too short; with bent washers installed there wasn't room for PECS. But local hardware store had longer pins. Problem solved for <$10
If you're considering buying Pat's system my advice (worth what you're paying for it) is don't hesitate. Buy, install, and enjoy changing 3pt implements!Kubota MX4700 HST 4wd, FEL w/bucket, root rake & pallet forks; Land Pride 5' mower, Land Pride 6' box blade, Brown harrow, Eagle 7' landscape rake, Agrex 3pt spreader, and Pat's EC system

Jmidjr I have some experience with such things and must be average at best because it took me several tries to get them look true to me. It was not hard but took several test runs to figure out the shimming to give me straight pulling when hitched.
If I every get another tractor is just standard arms I will order and install another set of Pat's easy change System even at twice the price. Very effective and made very high in quality.
I love the extra 4" space behind the tires to get in and hook up the PTO on the bushhog.

I have the older model and want to get just the stabilizer bar. Will it work and where is the best place to get it?

Gale, isn't it amazing what a difference that 4" of extra space makes? Like losing 20 lbs and 10 years! LOL
I forgot to mention that my local Kubota dealer had top link extensions made locally. The added length was necessary to have full range needed for box blade.Kubota MX4700 HST 4wd, FEL w/bucket, root rake & pallet forks; Land Pride 5' mower, Land Pride 6' box blade, Brown harrow, Eagle 7' landscape rake, Agrex 3pt spreader, and Pat's EC system

Re: Pat's Easy Change System - Order Online!
I just ordered Pat's system for my new Kubota L3800. Just one time switching from a mower to a box blade convinced me to make the change!!!
Looking forward to getting this installed. How easy will it be to attach my Rhino post hole digger?
Thanks!Kubota L3800HST w/LA524 Loader

Armstrong Box Blade (BB-05)
