Just loaded this heavy beast onto a refer headed to the east coast with my cabbed 7040. Easy peasy, thanks Pat!

This is the beauty of the Pat's system. If you can get the Pat's hooks lined up under the two implement's lift pins then raising the tractor's lift arms will engage one hook and then the other - sort of self-leveling. The top link is easy after that.

It does take a bit of practice and the hooks have to be at the right width to make everything go smoothly.

You can make spacers for each piece of similar equipment out of re-bar - just bend the tips about 2" from the end. Or, if you weld, just weld a 2" piece on each end at the right spot. Slip them in the spacer holes on the Pat's before climbing on the tractor and you are good to go.

My storage area is gravel and not level also. Pat's EC makes it a breeze to hook up.

Thank you for the feed back. I'm supposed to receive them Monday. I've been trying conceive of some spacer contraption your idea seems easier than some of the others.
Thanks again.

If you made a flexible spacer to fit your widest implement, you could lift it in the center, from the seat, for narrower implements.

I have tried all kinds of quick hitches. For the 60 and under hp tractors, Pat's is ec is best. Reason being the allied manufacturers do not use standardized coupling. Although they are improving. They really shine hooking up disc mowers. I even got rid of the caddy hitch. I have them on tractors from a NH TV6070155 hp cat 3 to a Kubota 25 hp. We use JD Quick hitches on our larger rigs.

My Pat's and the spreader shipped over 2 weeks ago , but only the
speader got here . USPS tracking stops at Chicago Int for the hitch-box.
Vicky and I are hoping it's just gone to another country ( had a
shipment from SF go to Montreal before returning to UShub to start its journey
to Australia ; that took 4 weeks in all ) and will show in the next week
or so . Stuff like this doesn't get stolen ; that's for valuables and Apple
Corp stuff etc. I have to say that in 25 years of having stuff sent
here and sending overseas , I've never lost anything . Even post cards
turn up eventually , although 9 weeks is the maximum that one of those
took. Where on Earth does some of this stuff sit for all this time?

I need my Pat's ECS :mur:

I put my easy change system on my tractor this weekend. I've never put an attachment on a tractor that fast in my life. Such a simple design that works great!

Thanks!!

Put my new PECS on last week. Not much trouble getting it on and leveled. I have only hooked up one implement (6" disk), and it sure is easier. So far no complaints. Probably should have bought the Pat's system years ago. Chalk that mistake up to my frugal tendencies. If you're on the fence and have the money, go ahead and do it. What's a couple hundred bucks in the giant scheme of things.

As an update. Been using it for a year on my 55 HP tractor and it is working great and I have put it through the ringer. From disc plows, disc harrows, box blade, rake, spreader, and cultipacker I have had no problems and it has worked like a charm. Just make sure to get plenty of pins for all implements.
