amstaff I think you will enjoy them. We went with Cat 2 for the FIL old 265 MF (60 hp). The 7' 3PH bush hog is about as heavy as one can be and we have some steep hills and when turning it wants to flop one way then the other. I really had my doubts able them holding up but three years later all is well.

I went to TSC and bought enough grade 2 (soft) bolts to fill ever tapped hole and got them long enough I could use jam nuts (double nutting). That stopped me from lossing bolts.

Take your time with the shim placement and kept trying different angles so in the working state you just have a straight pulling force.

Does the top link need to be longer for these to work? How Much?

On our 265 MF (1976) we were fine on top link and bush hog PTO. A 7' rotary mower comes with an extra long PTO. The added 4" of space between the tires and bushhog is awesome especially when hooking up PTO connector.

Got a question on the PEC system: When using the stabilizer bar to set the distance between the lower links, what keeps the links from swinging side to side? I'm probably missing something but seems like this might present a problem when backing up to the implement especially on uneven or ground.

I do but the turnbuckles restrict the arms in tension only. There is nothing to keep the arm from swinging outwards when not attached to an implement. I can see where the SEC adjustable link, in conjunction with adjustment of the sway-turnbuckes would maintain correct distance between the arms to match the implement until the implement is mounted. I normally, however, leave some slack in the sway control so as to not exert undue strain on the 3PT.
I'm looking at buying the SEC and just wanted to clarify the above.

I might mention also that the pivot points for the sway-turnbuckes on my B9200 are about an inch lower than the pivots at the front of the lift arms. This means that if I adjust the turnbuckes so they they are tight when the lifts arms are level, the turnbuckes will be short by maybe half of the inch when the lift arms are fully raised. This would seemingly put quite a strain on things and might prevent the lift arms from raising fully.
Perhaps this should be another thread but I've often wondered about this pivot offset issue between the pivots for the sway turnbuckes and the lower arm pivots at the front. I noticed that that the B9200 Operators Manual says to leave about 2 1/2" side sway in the 3PT when running ground engaging implements but run them tight when using above ground implements such as rotary mowers. Perhaps Kubota as well as other manufacturers design the strength of the sway-turnbuckes to be greater than the 3PT when it attempts to raise fully.
Would someone have some insight into this issue?

I'VE BEEN HAD!!!!
i read this entire thread prior to odering a set of hitches from Greenwell MFG. I was ready to order but needed extra washers, since I have more than three impliments, and wanted to dedicate a set to each of them. I called Greenwell, and during the course of the conversation, I told her that I had found these on Tractorbynet, and I wanted them to get the credit for the sale, and I wanted to claim the 2% discount for first time buy. When they came in, I was charged $199 for the hitches, and $15 for shipping. She did throw in the extra 3 sets of washer free. (big deal - they sell for $3 a set)
I imediately called her, she remember he conversation, but swears she told me I didn't get Tractorbynet price if I ordered direct. I don't believe she told me that, because I would have immediately stopped and returned here to order. $20 is not a big deal, but the prinicpal is. SO BEWARE - DON'T ODER DIRECT AND EXPECT THE SAME PRICE. This might be the best thing that ever came down the pike, but I'll never buy from Greenwell again, and sill surely tell everyone else not to.

How much would we have to chip in to cover your financial losses? I just dropped the bush hog and connected to the 8' box blade with about 1/20th of the effort before Pat's eazy change system was installed. I purchased direct like you and am so happy I forgot what they charged me. :D

I have been asked to be a distributor for Pat's easy change system and I am sure that most of you are aware of what I am referring to and I do not have any experience with them and was wondering if you guys have? If so was it good or bad. Also they are going to work with me for the first 30 days to run some specials to "get the word out" so if anyone is interested in the system that would be the time to buy. They sent me a display model that I am going to hook up and try as soon as I get a minute.
