Well this is not specifically a tractor attachment, but it can be! Wilton Vises | Truck Hitch Mounted Vise | ATV All-Terrain Vise

Anyone see one of these in person yet?

I have been shopping the flea markets and swap meets hoping to find a good old made in USA vise for my garage.

But I may just be interested in this, with the ability to grab it and go out to where you need it!

It looks promising. There's quite a few times when having the vise oriented at 90 degrees to it's usual mounting would be a heck of a lot better for certain jobs.

Hopefully they spec'ed them to be cast from a decent quality cast iron; I've seen too many instances of low quality vises breaking from just a moderate amount of clamping pressure.

I see the bench mount adapter is open on the bottom. Cheaper for them to build no doubt but in use you'd probably want to have a decent thickness of plate steel between them and most benches.

Naturally one could build an adapter to mount any vise you wished into a receiver hitch but they've does the work for you.

Cool idea, I like it. Made in USA? I have two Wilton 450s, awesome vises.

I wonder what they want for one......

Wow, kind of pricey, but all good vises are.....

I was thinking of fabing such a vise myself, but decided I would just head back to the barn when I needed a vise. But I have to admit having a tractor mounted vise when 10 minutes from the barn is a nice feature.

From what I'm reading, looks like it's made in China, still a cool product though.
