Here are a few pictures of the P-740.

Picture shows the heavy bracing to the corners of the blower. Also a good shot of the hydraulic motor for chute rotation of 310 degrees.

This picture shows the front (or rear) of the blower. Notice the heavy 1/2 thick wear plate at the lower side edges of the blower box. Also notice the auger drive chain is enclosed, this keep rocks and other debris from becoming wedged between the chain and sprockets.

I looked at one of these that was on Ebay last summer. The guy was in western Mass. It was built solid like the rock of gibralter. The P series is their heavy duty industrial model. Made like a timex, takes a beating and keeps on ticking.

I have a 64 inch Puma which is Pronovost's lighter duty unit. It is built solid too.

Another view from the other side. The "semi industrial chute" (that's what Pronovost calls it) does not leak any snow when direction the snow straight down.

This is a picture of the "self tensioner" for the auger drive chain. It is spring loaded and keep the right tension on the chain. Also the chain is an "80" chain. I'm not sure what the number means (other than a rating). But is sure look very rugged!

Left my wife with 20 inches of new snow and only a back blade to clear the 400 odd feet of driveway. So this is interesting.

Er...how far does it toss the snow. Hmm a better question how far would it toss a rock(I have a gravel drive) ? Don't need to be bombing my neighbors with snow thrower launched missles.

Looks like a nice unit, that 80 pitch roller chain is stout! Mind if I ask what one of those units goes for? I need to upgrage my snow removel tool before next season. Also, how big a tractor do you need to drive that bolwer?
