Kubota L2900 GST
Hey all... when I purchased my Kubota, it came with a Bradco backhoe with 4pt bracket to hook up to my L2900. It's in pretty rough shape, however, and I came across a CASE D100 down the street from me on craigslist.

Anybody know how compatible it may or may not be with the L2900?

Briefly speaking to the owner today, he said all it needs is a new seat. I'll go check it out in the AM to see it in person...

Can this work? If so, will it work well?

Thanks!! Will keep you all up to date!

It would likely work fine, but the tough part would be mounting it to the L2900.

Thanks for the quick reply! Can you be a bit more specific as far as what exactly would be an issue with the mounting? Has it been done before, or am I inviting a huge headache?

You can MacGiver anything if you have the knowhow, but for your situation, you need some kind of frame that hooks the backhoe to the tractor, and, very importantly, to the loader. You want to end up with a sturdy subframe to take all the digging stress, so the tractor does not. Once that is done, a dealer could hook up the hydraulics. My take, either fix the Bradco, or find another Bradco or Kubota or Woods backhoe.

Maybe you can salvage the Bradco frame and adapt it to mount for the Case backhoe. If not, you will need to do some engineering and fabrication. That D100 backhoe is likely for a skid-steer machine (i.e., BobCat) and won't be setup for mounting on a tractor. I hear they are very heavy.

Id cut some pipe to make bushings, and get some new pins. Even with a little welding, that would be fixable.

I've got a d100 on a kubota l3410 works really good other than a bit slow due to a low volume pto pump the PO installed on the unit . It uses a sub frame style mount.
