Hey All,

I did the final cut of the season with my Land Pride Rear Rotary Cutter (brush hog). Can someone tell me how to remove the plastic drive shaft shield? It's nearly impossible to access the Zerk on the u-joint.

I stopped short of using the sawzall

Thanks
Paul

What brand is it? (the driveshaft)

If it is a Comer as comes on Bush Hog brand cutters, there are three tabs behind the shield around the U-joints. Take a straight blade screw drive and rotate the square slotted white screws 90 degrees and they can be pulled out letting the shield slide back on cover over shaft.

Have you tried a flex hose on your grease gun?
