Anyone use any of the pull behind (3-point) spreader graders. I've found several manufactures such as Grademaster, Roadrunner, RoadBoss, Byonic Blayde, Terra.
Do they work? I need to maintain 8-10 miles of dirt/gravel roads in a varied terrian.
Thanks
Steve

I don't really know much about them but the must be working ok. They are using a couple of them on several miles of highway construction. Looks like they are using them to smooth out what the scrapers or dumping. Also for finish grading before the dirt grinder?? comes out. Don't know what you call it but its on tracks and has a big auger running horizontaly getting it perfect.

A friend who farms has several miles or gravel road to maintain. He has an old road grader that he bought years ago when the county auctioned it off, and has had good service from it. However, he bought a spreader very similar to the one shown in the link below two years ago and I don't think he's cranked the road grader since. He says it's the best thing he's ever used to maintain his roads.

There was an article in Farm Show Magazine about a ski nosed scraper recently. Perhaps the magazine's web site has a link.
