I'm wondering if a 270 tl NH loader will bolt up on my 4000 Ford

It might be made to fit, but it will not "bolt up". No mount kit exists for that combination, and you will have to do extensive measuring to determine if the attempt is worth it to you. Not something I would want to attempt.

Thanks Rick. The guy that has it said it would bolt right up. But I was wondering.

Also hydrolic fluid leaks out of the rear break rod entrance in the rear housing. Not all the time but it does. Any clue what that is

Brake rod seal needs to be replaced. Not a big deal if you have any mechanical expertise. Can be replaced from the outside.

Thanks again Rick. You seem pretty sharp about these things.

That's the man I was talking to. Rick seems to think it would be a big job to make it fit. I think I'll just try to buy one that bolts up the way its supposed to.

I'm actually adding this loader to my 4000 now. Rick is right its no where near a bolt up fit. And if you hired it done laybor would exceed the cost of a loader that would bolt up. Also how are you planning to supply your hyd? I'm still debating on adding a pump or power beyond? Something else to consider above the loader cost..
