Surprisingly, the floating tailgate feature is only going to add around $275 to the price.
We are still offering the regular models for those who aren't interested in the floating.
The rigid and floating models are Category 1 and 2 quick hitch compatible.

The answer to this question is a little complicated. Short answer, yes.

The version that we've been making will not. We have existing inventory that will be sold for $50 off until gone.
We've sold these for quite a while with very few shank issues because the shanks on them are as good or better than most box blades on the market.

Also, few other manufacturers mount their shanks behind the tube for maximum durability like we do.

We will be creating a new page with the Version 2 rigid gate. The sides will be extended like the floating tailgate models, so the price will go up some, probably ~$50 over the normal price of the existing models.
The Version 2 models will feature the US Made shanks.

Ted goes out of his way to get components from US Manufacturers whenever possible! This, along with quality, is at the top of his priority list!
