Grand L3540 ,724 loader, bucket, grapple and now forks also! And just for OP.. a pool!
Saw this mentioned somewhere , you'd get down pressure, be able to aim better I would think, ability to reach in better to somewhere.

My question is what drives it?? Hydraulics? How much is needed... seems to me this just might get stupid expensive...:confused2:

So thats like 3 times the price of a 3PH model not including the hydraulics.. Are they that much better?

Most are easily reversible as to direction which can be very nice in a bind and the down pressure, up pressure and being able to make small adjustments with loader angle...

Because I had one available through my brother, I used Bobcat's smallest hydraulic drill on the front of my NH Boomer 30. 8gpm hydraulic pump. I think I was a 10 or 12" auger bit. I don't think I even really went over half throttle.

I just got some 15' hoses to go from my rear remote to the front loader. The bobcat flat face disconnects cost 3x what the hoses did. Not the most convenient thing in the world, but for the once or twice a year I will use it....

The remote had more than enough torque, and while it wasn't the fastest speed, it was more than enough. With the variable remote, I was able to go as fast or slow as I needed and I was able to reverse. Being able to go slow forward and reverse, I was able to finesse rocks out of the hole.

I've never use a 3 pt, but I was able to easily drill holes on an angled hill for a deer stand with it mounted on the front, and going over small trees with the loader that I would have had to run over with a rear mount.

Not including hydraulics? You mean hoses to go to the tractor remote valve? Or something else?

All I have for remotes is one set for a 4 in 1 bucket in front.

Well you aren't too likely to use the 4 in 1 and the PHD on the same loader at the same time.

HA!! ya think??:D

But is that enough juice to run an auger?
