JD 4210 Backhoe?

I am hoping that I could gain a little knowledge here and determine what backhoe attachment is right for my 4210. I know that the 47 was made to fit the 4210 but of course that was several years ago and they no longer make the 47. So my question is starting from scratch what JD backhoes will mount to my 4210 and work properly. I have not yet purchased the power beyond kit or frame mounts, but would like whatever hoe to attach in the same manner. I know they have several different types of JD hoes out there now but looking for the best one that will work will little to no modification required to install.

I am 99% sure the 447 Backhoe replaced the 47, and JDP (JohnDeereParts) does show the attaching hardware for the 4210. Its very confusing, so it would be best to go talk to a sales person at a dealer to be sure you get the right parts.

Thanks Kennyd for some of the info. The sad part is that I have spoken to my local JD dealer and they have no clue what they are talking about. Anyways enough about that sour subject. I know there has got to be other JD backhoes that can hook up to a 4210. Such as a JD 46 or 260 or whatever models are out there.

The 46 and 260 are for the small frame tractors, not your mid-frame size. The 48/448 I think are to big. The 375/485 might fit, but they where made for the CAB models.

Not to sound like a smart a**, but find a different dealer if you not happy at the one you tried. Might try Muttons, they ship all over the US.
