Hi,
I'm going to need a 7ft/84" finish mower this summer and am researching my options. I have seen many threads on this forum that say that the Kioti is made by Sicma, but I'm finding info online that contradicts that, in particular the weight. The new Kioti is advertised as being only 728 lbs, but the Sicma (First Choice, Phoenix, etc) is advertised as 860 lbs. I'm vexed because I can't find any differences when comparing photos. I haven't gone to see the Kioti in person yet (they are still buried in snow at the local dealer).
Did Kioti change suppliers? I am doubting whether or not I can rely on any of the reviews on the forum if it's no longer the same mower.
