1961 minneapolis moline jet star
it was on my 1960 minneapolis moline jetstar if that means anything. i need to buy a new tooth bar blade for it and need a few other miscellaneous parts but i dont see a name plate on it anywhere. i found a number on the tooth guards of MC-2041 which i looked up as international harvester but they may have used those guards on other brands to. i just don't know. it is a mid mount. there is a pulley under the tractor and 2 hydraulic ports on the side of the tractor that i belive would move it up and down. unfortunately i took the hydraulic cylinder off of it before i took the pictures because i need to get it repaired. that seems to be my biggest problem. if i could figure out what i have i think finding the knife head would be pretty easy.

Sicklebar sections (the triangular knives) and the rock guards (the pointy things that protect the sections) have been standardized since day one. Measure the size of the sections and guards on that Jet Star mower and head for Tractor Supply or equivalent. You'll find what you want there.

Good luck.

the teeth are good. i need the bar that the teeth are riveted to. it broke in half. I also think it is a minneapolis moline model SO side mount sickle bar but I’m really having a hard time finding another picture of it or someone to verify that.

Here's some not very good photos from a brochure that's on eBay:

The brochure looks like it would cost you $9.99.

Again the knife bar (the one the knives rivet or are bolted too) is pretty standard. If you can determine the hole spacing exactly, width, and length) call Webbs you should easily be ableto get a new one. Your existing head should be able to be moved to the new one. How if it is the sickle bar that the guards bolt too and knife bar runs on, that could be an interesting search, but again if you can get the measurements, a new one could be cut down to fit. Also depending on your sickle bar, there are splice kits that might work
