I'm having an issue with the Befco mower I bought new and can't figure out why so I figured I'd ask if anyone on here has had similar issues. I have a Befco Cyclone C50 with the 72 inch cut and at 123 hours (August 2013) the spindle that runs the right pulley for the belt seized which caused the pulley to break away from the shaft. I took the mower to the dealer and everything was replaced at no cost to me.

Move ahead to yesterday, when I was almost done mowing and I heard a loud bang. Initially, I thought I hit something but in checking it out I realized it was the same tinny noise I heard in 2013. When I removed the belt cover the same pulley was broke again and the shaft is seized. But, what really sucks is it's only been 117 hours since the new one was put on. I was going to attempt to replace it myself but knowing the dealer had a heck of a time doing it, I'm going to have him replace it again.

So, has anyone ever heard of or had similar issues with the right spindle seizing? To me it sounds like a bad sealed bearing and the uncanny thing is it's happened at about the same amount of hours as it did the first time.
