Hey Guys,

I have a 770 which I bought with a front end loader and backhoe. It didn't come with any of the 3 point stuff so I was going to order the components from an online dealer specializing in Yanmars.

I was at a swap meet today and ran across the 3 point arms, links, etc from a 4600 which is also category one but 45 hp vs 23. I tried searching and I even called a few places, some said it was the same, some said different between the two.

I see some vendors list 3 point linkage kits for tractors over 25 hp and under 25 hp. Then some list kits for over 20 hp and under 20 hp.

I ended up buying the parts at the swap meet as I got such a good deal on them I figured I could resell them if they don't work. So, I guess my question is, will the 3 point arms, top link, and all that other good stuff bolt onto the existing 3 point mounts on my 770? I have the backhoe on now, so I couldn't try it out tonight when I got home.

Thanks,

Scott

Can you locate another 770 and measure the arms on that machine ?

I don't think the 4600 3PH will fit, but since you have the parts, you may as well try them. I think the lifting links will be the problem.
The 4600 does have a much nicer anti-sway link set-up...sliding rails rather then the 770's turnbuckles.
FYI, the 770 uses the same 3PH components as the 670 and 790 Deeres.
