Does anyone have problems attaching these critters?...

I can't get the valves on the quick coupler to release pressure on the loader side of the hydraulics...

So, you can't get them to attach...

I have tapped (hit) the nipple on the attachment coupler with at wooden dowel to help release the pressure--Oil all over the place...

Today I tapped the nipples and still couldn't get it attached...

Any help?...

I can honestly say that Kubota has mostly become a piece of sh*t. I have owned 3 other BX series Kubotas and this 2670 is absolutely junk. Quality is terrible. Just little sh*t problems from day one...

Any help on the quick couplers with the loader?...

Thanks...

Wish I could help, but you've already tried what works for me, tapping or cracking the fittings.

Before you remove the couplings, with the engine off or at idle, make a very quick circle through all positions with the control lever. That will relieve residual pressure. If you don't do it quickly, you'll just re-pressurize.
If you leave the unattached loader in the sun, the fluid will expand and you will have to relieve the pressure with the dowel or similar.

Is there a problem with them that can be fixed with new parts?...

Are all of the loaders this way?...

I absolutely could not get this loader on my tractor today...

I wonder if John Deere is the same way...

Thanks...BCB

Pretty much what Bxpanded said, I've only had problems when I left them in the sun, if I take them off in a building, it's just a slip on connection. We've had tractors from 22HP to 85 and no problems with any.

I don't know about John Deere, we don't have a loader on ours.

Well, at least it isn't a problem specific to my tractor...

I do the circle with the control lever, but I guess it was just warm today and the oil expanded enough to make the valves not work properly...

It sure is lousy having to carry a dowel rod and hammer to put the bucket on...

But, I have had 4 of the BX series tractors and I think this is my last one. The quality has simply disappeared as the years have gone by...

Just little things, but things that matter when you want to get on the tractor and do a job. There always seems to be something that needs adjusted or whatever...

Today it was the loader. I now have to try it again tomorrow. I was going to do the job today and bring the tractor home today--didn't happen...

Oh well...

No, No, No!!!...

I did attempt it for an hour or so, but what I meant was I lost a day that I could have got done what I needed to do with the loader...

I need to get my rototiller off the tractor and the mower on it today...

Grass to start mowing now--The loader work may have to wait--Unless I can get it attached this morning...

Always something it seems...

I wonder why they don’t put some type of pressure relief valve on it. I guess there would have to be 4 of them?...

Could a person do that themselves—aftermarket some way?...

Very annoying. I don’t know how much of a beating those little valves can take with a wooden dowel and hammer. I know I can’t just use the dowel and push it. It won’t release…
