NH TC18
I'm in the market for a grapple for my TC18 and really like the 50" model from Everything Attachments. Problem is they offer it with skid steer attachment or, for an extra $100, mountings for specific Kubota FELs. I don't want the added weight or cost of the skid steer mount so am looking to buy it with a Kubota setup that comes closest to matching my 7106 FEL.

I've been looking online for dimensions for the Kubota FEL mounting points but no joy. I can go to my local dealer with a tape measure and probably will, but my near-hopeless question is has anyone done this to their TC18-TC21D? Does anyone know where I can find attachment point dimensions for LA-243, LA-364, or LA-304 Loaders?

you DON'T want SSQA?
Please reconsider!

I'll keep the grapple on probably 90% of the time so quick on/off isn't a priority. Keeping the cost of this attachment down is. Is there a retrofit kit available for less than a few hundred bucks? Are there prints for DIY?

Why not contact them with your measurements and see if they have anything available that is close.

changing to ssqa is the best thing I ever did....my TC45 didn't come with it -- so I converted and let me tell you....it both paid for itself and cost me more money too....I get so much more use out of the fel now....but I naturally had to buy the extra attachments for that use. One of the more useful things I have is a manlift/ platform made from a carryall I got at TSC. I likely have $125 in it and use it constantly for moving things and lifting me. My grapple is the second thing on there, followed by the bucket. But changing from one to another takes 2 minutes allowing me to jump from job to job and get a lot more done in the day. I sometimes want a set of forks .... and have the option - easily.........you really should think about it.

I contacted them without my measurements, just looking for options, and they suggested I look at what's close in the Kubota line, but I will get back to them with dimensions from the 7106.

I don't move loose materials very much so I think that a grapple and weighted carryall will be the vast majority of what I need. But I did look into SSQA more online and it seems everyone's selling adapters for attachments but not for FELs. I know it would have to be a hole pattern and width for a given FEL but are they just too easy to fabricate yourself?

got mine from NH dealer...took me about 30 minutes to change out....then I modified the bucket with a plate to fit the ssqa.

Who is the manufacturer of your SSQA Mike? EA makes one but it's about $800. Maybe that's a good price but when added to the cost of the grapple and a 3rd function setup, I'm now in the $3k territory.

I'll search the frame of the QA....but it's been 12 years anyway....so I really don't remember who made it...I just got it through a dealer in Houston...I don't have any idea what I paid for it either....but I'd consider 800 a fair price for the amount that I use it. ....The grapple I remember was 1700 including shipping. I remember that cause I was worried I might not get that much use from it....HA!...It passed that the first year. I plumbed hydraulics for it from the rear by just running flex hose tie wrapped the whole way. Just use the rear remote control for it...second nature for me now.
