    Default Identify this bush hog?

This bush hog/rotary cutter what ever you'd like to call it came with my tractor used. It was bought from a kubota dealership with the Kubota tractor at the same time(late 70's early 80's?) It has a leaking gear box so id like to find a seal for it but I cant identify it. Thanks!

most places can match up a seal with ID of recess the seal sets in, OD of the shaft the seal fits on, and thickness of the seal

Sometimes you get lucky and there is number molded onto the face of the seal. Can you clean it off and look before trying to remove the seal.

Otherwise like soundguy said typically ID, OD and width will get you a seal.

I'm certain that he has an Andy. I have an Andy 500 that is bolt for bolt identical to the mower shown in the picture. The color and what is left of his decal match too.

Look for a name on the gearbox to see who made it. Only a few companies make their own gearboxes.

Check Lowery Manufacturing. They have info on the Andy, including a parts breakdown.
