Notice how the turnbuckles attach to to link past lift point instead of before. I think this is part of the problem.

I bent the right draft arm on my '13 T1520 and just straightened it on the shop press. ('close' to straight and may show in pic) I've learned not to tighten the stays too much, just enough to keep implements off the tires and not to have them ever 'fight' each other when turning or lifting.

Mine are set up like the OP's. Attaching the lift arms closer to pivot sacrifices lift capacity, but may be insurance against overloading by doing that.

btw, the leveling box was my add-on, not OEM, and not working this guy too hard as I approach 100hr service.

Redneck in training is set up properly. Notice how his lift linkage is near vertical which gives you a smooth power curve through the entire lift. The old grind is setup improperly and I have seen them come from dealerships wrong many times.

Well, I'll be darned. After all these years I never paid any attention to this subject.
Had to go out and check how mine was set up. Yep, looks likes it's right! Who knew.

It's amazing how much lift power you lose if those are swapped. It is akin to lifting a barbell with your arms instead of your legs.

I folded a set from TSC also, so don't feel bad. Junk Chinese steel was my guess.

Now I am really confused as my turnbuckles are on the inside of the lift arms. Do the larger horsepower tractor have them on the outside? Or is my 2400h put together wrong

It is difficult to see but you can see the turnbuckle arm on the inside of the left lift arm.

Nope that's exactly how they're supposed to be on that machine. And generally yes the smaller tractors have them on the inside from what I've seen. The really big tractors have both on each arm- in and outter.

Thanks Fawken, now I feel a lot better.
