Hi all' Just purchase a used Worksavor 36" I'll be useing it on a TYN 450. At 43hp i'm going to be a little short on the hp. Tractor weight with loader is right at 5000 lb. hope thes will be ok with light bites' and slower passes for any one that has try to run the stump grinders please fell free to chine in.

It will strictly depend on how much of an adequate inventory you have of replacement parts like carbide knives
mounting bolts etc if the grinder does not have a welded carbide cutter head.

I think you'll be disappointed! I own a 24" stump grinder using 40 HP and I have to take very small bites. The model is a Shaver SC-25 which is recommended for 15-35 HP. BTW, there is now way 15 HP would run this thing!

You only have 32 (claimed) pto hp on a 4105.

The little 8" ones they rent at Home Depot have 8hp. Depends how many teeth in the cut and how much material you're trying to peel off per tooth.

Too much power can be just as bad:

PTO shafts vibrate pretty good when the ends are 120 degrees out of time. :eek:
