I just put my new set of chains on my TC 21 D and would like to share some info. I bought the chains from a well established firm over the web. I fitted the chains prior to use and was distressed to find they were way too long. I called the dealer and was told it was common and that I would need to remove a cross link and 4 links of chain. All I can say is it's a good thing I had a Porta - Band saw and a chain vice. You would think with all the info provided they could provide a better out of the box fit. After the slight modification I must say they work real well and I got about 2 feet of new snow to PLAY, I mean, Work in.

Well, I along with others may like to know where you bought the chains for your TC 21D. I have a great TC33D that I want to get chains for so how about the low down on who and where you got them from.I wish I lived where you are I want to come out and play too. My wife said it would be OK but alas no snow. By the way how about a price for those chains. Good luck plowing ya lucky devil. Scaper

Banjobj,
Was that tirechains.com? If it was they did the same damn thing to me@! I wasn't too happy with them at all. I wanted to send them back but I would have had to pay shipping back they said for their mistake! I won't buy anything from them again.

Scraper,
Mine were the exact right size and the size of my tires was even on the invoice that they sent with them. They still wouldn't do anything about it unless I sent them back at my cost. Pretty sorry place to do business with.

The chains I got for my B2400 were perfect! Thanks go to Tim Alderman's crew at http://www.aldermans.com

They found chains for my R4 tires. I put them on all 4 wheels. Tractioin on ice is wonderful. I can steer on ice and while working the loader.

Cowboydoc, It was tirechains.com and I wanted to send them back, but shipping cost was also why I didn't. They won't have to worry about me buying anything from them again. I really feel they misrepresented their product, especially when they want all the information, which should insure a proper fit. I don't know what someone without a band saw or vise is supposed to do. I paid about $115.00 which included shipping.
