Hello guys I am wondering if there is out there or if anyone would know if a brush grapple and pallet forks would work on a Mahindra tractor and a Bobcat(skid steer). I would like to get brush grapple and set of forks that would work on both units if needed to. Thanks

That depends on your FEL. Most new tractors come with a "skid steer quick connect" style of FEL. This is a standard system that skid steers have so all implements that are this style will work......grapples, buckets, forks etc. so if your tractor has this system, the answer is yes. You can use the same implements on both. But keep in mind most skid steers are much more powerful, so a big heavy duty grapple may be too heavy for your tractor, but a light duty grapple may be too weak for a skid steer. So use your common sense. And implements that require hydraulic flow, like a skid steer auger, won't work on a tractor because of too little hydraulic flow.

Older tractors didn't have this skid steer quick connect system. Either their buckets were bolt on or maybe they had a brand specific style connection, that wouldn't work on skid steers. But you may be able to buy an "adapter" like I had to for my 15 year old Kubota. TachAll makes one, and Everything Attachments sells several different brands, if there is one made for your specific tractor.

Yes the 2014 Mahindra 3616 HST with a FEL 115 is the tractor. I remember when I bought it that the salesman told me that it was compatible with most Bobcat attachments?? But most of the time those salesman like to blow smoke up *** LOL.

Then you're good to go. The bucket comes off by lifting the levers on each side that raises the locking pins. Then just curl your FEL down and back out from under it. It's very simple. Just size your grapple appropriately. Guess it depends on which machine will get the most frequent use. Of course, you will need hydraulics to control the grapple on the tractor. That will have to be added. Again, Everything Attachments sells a hydraulic / electronic control made by Longs that works great. Or you could use your rear remotes. There's several ways to do this. There is a lot written on this forum discussing ideal grapple size and his to control the grapple hydraulically. Your skid steer already has this I would assume, and it's not needed for a simple fork.
