Thank you and Yikes! It says a lot about Kubota equipment too. Most others would have broken in half or pulled the FEL off. That grappler is a monster.

 Yikes is right!

There were moments that spoke quite a bit for both the grapple and the tractor. I'm not sure I got a good angle of it on film, but at one point he was in reverse, rear wheels off the ground from all the pressure on the front.....at the same time, the front wheels are turned all the way to the left and digging backwards. I just knew something in that front end was gonna turn loose!

That heavier wicked grapple looks pretty interesting. What kind of weight and what size opening?

The 73" is right at 800 pounds. The opening is the same as our new Wicked Utility, 42.5. Geometry is about the same, only the heavier one has larger tubing, thicker steel and more gusseting.

I did that same kind of stuff in my woods for several years. Then, last year, my DK45 finally said "Enough!" and broke both bevel gear cases, a couple of months apart. Pushing forward and lifting hard while wheels are turned sideways puts a lot of force on the front end (maple trees are very tough, by the way!)...I'll be a bit more cautious for a while, 'til I get compacent and start treating her rough again.
