Doesn't the backhoe have its own relieve valve set for its own max pressure ?
I know my backhoe does.
Indeed they do, but some of these Prairie Dog hoes were delivered with RVs set too high....over 3000psi.
The 480LL has something like 3000psi system pressure.
I don't trust any RV settings from factories without my own test, esp after buying a new Bobcat CT230 that
was set to 3000psi, when it was supposed to be 2500.
A number of the 400+ Prairie Dogs went out at too-high RV settings, so they were all turned down
after that. Turned down too-low, BTW....1500 or so (CYA). The too-high RV settings only caused
problems when installed on tractors that put out more than 2500psi. Most CUTs don't exceed
2500.
