Kubota L6060
I have a Kubota L6060 with a 4-in-1 bucket and a quick connect coupler for the hydraulic hoses. I now want to connect a hydraulic post hole auger to my front end LA1066 loader and using this connection would be a huge help. Has anyone done anything like this with the Kubota quick connect coupler? Does Kubota offer the part that would mate with the fixed coupler and if so what is that part number? Here's a picture of the coupler.

Someone spent some money on that setup! Not factory Kubota and I doubt they sell those parts, and not without a big markup.

Personally, as cool as it is I would convert to skid steer flat face couplers if you are adding another attachment, or perhaps multiples.

I have the same coupler. The part number for the Male fitting is: 7J292-85320

That someone was me... :) but no, it is an official, Factory manufactured item. On the Kubota build sheet for my tractor the part was listed as:

Third Function Hose Quick Connector - L2260

It was installed by the Kubota dealer when I purchased it. If I wanted to pay $596 (the marked up price you mentioned) I could buy the entire coupler but I only need the half that attaches to the disconnected implement, in this case my new hydraulic post hole digger...

I guess I will check into the "skid steer flat faced coupler" that you suggested, although it seems a waste to take off a $600 part and set it on a shelf...

Thanks a lot for this part number PSDStu !!! It's "only" about $170. That's much less than the $596 to buy both parts... You were a BIG help!

For those that have one of these couplers, is it easier to connect implements like a grapple or auger when they are under pressure? (Say when the implement sits outside in the sun and the pressure builds up in the lines)

Connect under pressure couplers would be a lot less money. And if you have breakaway couplers, I would bet that connection time is not all that much faster or easier.

A word of caution to the OP. Fairly sure that some of the Kubota 3rd function parts are not rated for constant use as would be required for a hydraulic motor.

If it is an actual factor to be considered, I do not know. Only that the constant use rating is not there. ;)

Did you manage to make it work?

Am buying an L6060--would you recommend I get that L2260 quick coupler?

Which auger did you get? Would you recommend it?

Many thanks
