Cut Closer UP TOO a short stump, rock, post etc.
NOT closer cut to the ground.
Maybe I didn't explain it properly.

I can see where projectiles would be slung forward FROM the Center of deck with both blades turning forward between the spindles.

It's about finished

Putting it together :D

I used Thick SS fender washers on the factory 10mm bolts.

Now that I have the chains hanging strait across the front :

I'm gonna have to cut one chain link off the chains directly in front of the blade tips because grass folds the chains back causing interference :confused3:

No biggie though. Cuts Fantastic :D

I love my cutter but it slings grass & covers entire rear of Tractor :-(

I'm sure my chain mod made it a little worse.

Yep it sits in the shed when I'm finished & stays dry until I can use my backpack blower on it lol

Typically throwing grass forward is a sign your cutter is higher in the front than the back. My LandPride calls for the front to be about 1" lower than the rear. You may try raising your tail wheels.

If I lift my 3pt while my top link is in float or I don't shorten the top link it throws all kinds of junk forward.

YMMV

I forgot to mention I'm backing up a bank mowing, then mowing down it.

I think most of the clippings are from the backing up.

I get COVERED with the open station lol

MX10 blades :
Dealer sold me FH329911 & FH329912 which is about 4” too short.

I’ve found that W45326 & W45327 are the blades I need.
I understand these #’s have been discontinued / superseded ?

the dealer said I needed FH332991 & FH332992 but I’m afraid these are shorter for a MX8.

why the part # change ?
Does anybody have info ?
