I looked at EA stuff, their tools are well made, HD, but their pricing is above all of them.
They start at $1570 for a 60" Unit and then they want another $100 to ship it to a depot 50 miles up the road.
I have been looking for a while, looked at most of them, wanted to buy two months ago, still waiting for a deal.
Missed the 5% off from EA, would have helped with the shipping.
BEFCO is now my first choice, looking for a good price, but was just wondering about the ABI Tool.

I have not, but I know Dave of Dave's tractor and I don't believe that he would sell anything that he was not able to stand behind. I would contact Dave's Tractor and get a weight on whatever size you are considering. If it is 100lbs or more per foot of width, then they are probably close to many others that are out there for sale.
Ideally you want 150lbs or more per foot width, but typically those units are not an economy price. I currently am of the mindset that there are no bad LPGS, just some that are better than others. And of course the unit needs to be sized properly for what will be pulling it as well as how and what it will be used for. :thumbsup:

Out of all of the posts, I have not one that has mentioned anything about the quality of the ABI Unit.

Well, my guess would be that none of us have seen one in person, so the know quality is not there and at best is a guess. My guess would be that it is fine, probably like most of the units out there.

I have first hand knowledge but the 60" is almost 600lbs so it has just enough weight. The wear shoes are replaceable but the cutting bladed depth seems fixed or non adjustable. Other then that I like what I see and thank you for the post
