SkidPro Tree Puller

Ordered a tree puller from SkidPro right before Christmas and it's being delivered today. 6 day delivery, over Christmas, is excellent!

We have lots of Yaupons growing around base of most of our oak trees. I have been cutting them off, just above ground, and treated cut stump with 25% Remedy and 75% diesel with great results. This is a time consuming work since we have so many. I'm hoping this tree puller will speed up the process.

Will start with it installed on our LS XR4046HC (46 HP - 2500 lb. lift / 4354 lb. breakout) which already has the WR Long 3rd function installed. For the really big ones and some of the cedars I need to take out, I can install it on our New Holland TL100A (96 HP - 5000 lb. lift /6000lb. breakout). I keep our 84" grapple installed on the TL100A most of the time.

More later after it arrives and I yank out a few Yaupons.

Easy unload from FedEx trailer with my tractor and pallet forks. Truck was here less than 15 minutes. The back door of trailer was open less than 5 minutes. Don't understand why some equipment vendors want to deliver to a "commercial" address or freight terminal causing me to have to hook up a trailer, drive there and back, and end up using my tractor and pallet forks to unload from my trailer and waste half a day in the process. :-(




The tree puller was delivered on a sturdy pallet which I intend to store it on.








Working out the hydraulic fittings to match the 3rd function QD's on FEL so, a trip to Tractor Supply is in order to get this thing operating soon.

I actually looked hard at the Danuser Intimidator and like it better than the Bradco Jaws but, since my primary use will be pulling 1-2" Yaupons I think the SkidPro will serve me well. For my needs didn't see any advantage in 2 moving jaws.

Ya, my estimation was that 2 would be better but it was an expense decision! It was/is just a guess.

If thats the case mine must be half as good as it cost almost half as rigustafson . I started to build me one but after pricing everything it was going to cost only a little less than what I bought from Palletforks.com.. It does a good job and lots of enjoyment seeing those trees and brush being uprooted never to return. Makes you want to ride around looking for something to pull or move.

Probably not as robust as some of the others but it holds up to anything that I have the power to lift. I'm using it on a 64hp skid steer and its great for pulling small trees and brush from fence lines. Probably won't be quiet as easy to use on a tractor loader at first but you'll get use to it because you might not be able to see what you're grabbing. If you're not around a fence no problem.

I still can't load new pictures ?? I've tried everyday and everything since the upgrade and no luck. Here's the one I bought. $775 delivered to my door by Fedex.
