I am looking for a pallet fork that can be used on the 3PH and the FEL. Is there such an attachment?

I've thought about adding three point pins to my existing set of SSQA forks, but haven't done it yet. I think that would be the easiest way to go. I've also considered just buying a set for the three point, so I could carry a pallet on the front and one on the back at the same time. I hear Agri-supply has them for a pretty good price. I've also considered a three point forklift mast. There's a used one available locally for around $500. That seems like a good option since you could put stuff up high, but I suppose you lose some lift capacity due to the weight of the unit.

Good luck with your search, and let us know what you figure out.

I would just add some pins unless carrying two pallets is important. I have been wanting to do the same thing since my 3ph lifts 3,700 pounds.

I just sold my 3pt forklift. It had a similar or better range than my loader. But with the extra weight of the forklift (500lbs maybe) my 3pt couldn't end up lifting much more than the loader & forks (IBC tote a little over 1/3 full of water). The forklift didn't even flinch lifting things, but my 3pt stopped lifting. I didn't want to push it & break something on my tractor. It lifted a ton or so & guess it might have been able to lift 2 or so, but my 3pt stopped lifting around 3/4 ton. I probably could have gained a bit taking off my quick hitch, but I'm lazy & like the ease of the quick hitch.

Bought it for $200, put new hoses on & ended up selling it for $300. Really haven't seen many on Craigslist in the past year or so. There is another for $900.

Did your forks have a mast like a forklift?

How well did that work? I have been thinking about building something similar. I have an old forklift mast laying around.

Could have origionally been off a forklift for all i know. It was chained to the quick hitch ontop because my welding for a temporary quick hitch compatible toplink bracket sucked.

Once you get the weight of the mast off the ground the capacity of the lift depends on the mast hydraulics matched to the tractor PSI and GPM.

I have been looking for a 4K mast but so far no luck. I would would probably put it on the front in place of the FEL using the QH unit for front blades. I am also looking for ideas so will be following this post. I like the point of not adjusting the angle constantly like using bucket forks.

If I did it I would want to hook it up on the backhoe subframe to reduce the risk of busting something. The problem is I can't figure out how to get it hooked up without using another tractor to lift it up. I also thought about putting it on the loader and resting the mast on the ground, but I was afraid it would still put too much pressure on the loader.
