Been looking for a backhoe for my Bobcat (re-badged Kioti) CT 450 tractor.

Bobcat got out of the compact tractor business and sold off all of the remaining backhoes for this model and I can't find an appropriate aftermarket model. No one that I'm aware of lists a model for my tractor and apparently there are enough differences between the Kioti tractor and the Bobcat version that there is no direct alternative. I have a cabbed tractor and would like to find an original Bobcat branded backhoe. It must have a subframe assembly and not just a 3 point hitch setup. In the off chance that someone knows of one out there, please advise.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I would find a DK50SE you can get yours next to and compare the two. I bet they're the same frame/mounting/etc. and the backhoe for the DK50SE (the 75 or 85 I think?) will mount right up. You need a remote for the stabilizers.

Otherwise, see if Woods lists a backhoe for the CT450.

Appears there is a 7TB and an 8TB. I'm sure these match up exactly to a KB2475 and KB2485. I would go this route and if there is minor fab work to adapt the subframe, do it or have it done. But I bet they bolt up.

Could be wrong, but I though Rhino may have made some of the loaders and backhoes for the Bobcat tractors.

DK35vince - I believe you are correct on Rhino making the Bobcat units. OP - Have you talked to you Bobcat dealer, or find a Bobcat construction dealer. They have an internal search feature where they can call around electronically for the unit between dealers. Mine used it when trying to find my rear remotes. My guess is there is one sitting somewhere, or contact Rhino.

Thanks. I'll do both, check with Rhino and the dealer. Thus far, my local dealer seems less than enthused to investigate for me. I'll pursue the issue again with them and also go directly to Rhino.
I've actually had more assistance with the Kioti dealers I've contacted than I have with the Bobcat folks here locally. Unfortunately, the Kioti dealers don't know specifically which Kioti model the Bobcat version equates to or what changes were made to the Bobcat version. The Bobcat dealers seem to want to move on to current products and not deal with the past. I'll report back.

OK, Rhino advises that the Rhino 75c or 85c will work with my Bobcat CT 450. It was a short note from them so I am going back with some specific questions to include is this in fact the original equipment that Bobcat used when they branded them as Bobcat? Makes life easier if it is. Otherwise "will fit your tractor" could be with a bunch of provisos and "oh by the way, you have to modify this or that" to actually work. Very good lead though. I'm hopeful that this is a direct fit. Will follow up with results.

As others have noted, your Bobcat is manufactured by Kioti and identical to the DKse series. Any backhoe that fits a Kioti DKse (or NX) will work fine with the CT450. I have a Woods BH90x mounted on my DK40se and can strongly recommend it after eight years service without a problem. Rhino also makes an excellent BH and any Kioti dealer could sell you a Korean built BH that would fit too.

No modifications are necessary to mount any BH that fits a Kioti. Some BHs with 4 point mounts (like my Woods) do require removing the end portions of the 3PT arms temporarily when mounting the BH but that's just a matter of pulling a few cotter pins and takes a minute or two.
