Hi , I purchased a Branson 2910i with loader, the bucket shows to be a Quick Connect, it has a lever that you pull up and it should then release 2 pins and then bucket should be able to remove, now comes the problem the lever will not move, I have sprayed solvents but no luck, the lever will not budge, any ideas from anyone would sure be welcomed.

Thank You,
Sallyb

ps now to post on another topic ,I broke pto shaft inside tractor

Is the bucket tipped in such a way that it is putting a load on the locking pins?

Try soaking the pins with penetrating oil from the bottom and top. Tilt the bucket all the way to soak the bottom. Then try placing a pipe on the levers to get them to move. Once you get it apart clean and oil everything real good and keep it lubed.

I did all listed above, the levers are now broke, bucket still on won't come off

I've seen this happen on well worn skid steer loaders. What happens is the pins rust or jam in the bore, and somebody tries to loosen them up thinking the lever or pivot points are frozen. A lot of force is used (a cheater bar or pipe), the levers or pivots break, and the pins are still stuck.

The best way I've dealt with it is to position the buck so that I can use a bar or punch to push the pins up. The lever arms have to be "over center", but it usually works. Don't be afraid to soak the pins in penetrating fluid. Its going to take some work to get them free. Once free, disassemble, clean and replace the broken parts. Once back together, lube with plenty of grease and use often.

crashz has got it, to expand on that theme;
curl your bucket back so it doesn't come off, prop the loader arms up,
get in where you can get big punch on the bottom of the tapered pin and
drive it up, penetrating oil and maybe even some heat when the pin starts moving,
work on the other.
Once they start moving I'd get one freed up good and the linkage repaired and latched
back down and repeat with the other one.
While working on the pins do not put pressure on the bucket, if the bucket lifts or slides up
it can and will come off and fall on you.

I do not use grease on mine I prefer powdered graphite it will lube without collecting dirt and grit.

Thank s for replying, as I said I bought tractor after it had sat outside nonworking a couple of years,I thought maybe some pieces were missing from loader,I just found on Red's diagram of the loader, and yes parts are missing, I still need to remove pins, so I will continue to follow advise from ya'll. The parts are pretty costly, I don't suppose ya'll would know where to buy used parts, I looked at All States and no luck.
