A buddy emailed this pic to me but failed to send link to the page.. he clears his history nightly and we have been unable to find it again using the same search. Attempting to ID the grapples BC-3000.jpg

Says it right in the picture: Brush Crusher. Made by Westendorf.

I'm still debating getting a pair for my Kubota, cost is not unreasonable, but the company seems to have control issues and they're pretty stingy with information. Not a great reputation here on TBN.

At only 140 lbs for the 3000 model, I can see the advantages to a smaller lift limited tractor. No SSQA hardware and lighter than any grapple.

Tom, RH, I have a pair mounted on a 35 hp Century (older Branson). If you are moving a lot of brush and small logs they can't be beat. it usually takes me about 20 minutes to attach them to my tractor as you have to remove the quick attach system. I have a loader made by Humpolec that was sold with the Century tractors when I bought mine. They are indeed lighter than most attachments which enables you to pick up a lot. If you are cutting a lot of firewood they are the best aid for getting the log off the ground to cut it up. Willie Jones

Actually they are very stable and i have had no twist in mine. But I do not try to abuse them and go slow when loading. You can actually use them to load chippers with saplings if you are clearing underbrush. Saves a lot of labor. W Jones
