I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this in a new tractor. My Brother-in-law purchased a new B2920 from a local dealer a couple years ago. It was a B2920 with a backhoe (kubota), and a grapple attachment they installed. Yesterday I stopped by to help him detach the backhoe for the first time. It seems the dealer only attached one quick connect on one of the hydraulic lines, and screwed the other one in so you'd have to break the line to remove the backhoe. Also the grapple they attached ( I believe an ATI) was bolted onto the bucket with one end being about 5 degrees different from the other end. Not only that, but when the bucket is tilted all the way back, the grapple bar hits the bucket cylinders. The cylinders paint's chipped off there, and it looks like it won't be much longer before the cylinders end up being dented. Has anyone else experienced service like this?

Wow. sloppy work by the dealer. I would take pictures and let the dealer owner see what work has been coming out of the shop. Won't be long till that cylinder is damaged.

So the BIL has been using it with the grapple misaligned and the BH hydraulics improperly connected for two years and has never either noticed or bothered to talk to the dealer about it? Putting aside that a new tractor with such issues should never have been presented or accepted for delivery, it's going to make it more difficult to get a good resolution at this late date. A dealer who lets stuff like that out of his store might not be the most customer-oriented party to deal with on something like this.
